Skybound Entertainment’s InvincibleVS fighting game made its debut today at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025. The 3v3 tag fighting game features fan-favorite characters from the Invincible comic book series and animated series, including Mark Grayson (Invincible), Omni-Man, Thula, AtomEve, and Bulletproof.
Expected to launch in 2026 for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, InvincibleVS promises a unique blend of superhero spectacle and brutal combat. Players will harness explosive powers and unleash bone-breaking combos through fast tag-team mechanics and strategic defensive play.
Robert Kirkman, creator of the Invincible comic book series, expressed his excitement for the game, calling it “crazy fun, fast, ferocious” and stating that it’s “everything that fans have been demanding for over a decade!” The game will offer various dynamic game modes, including single-player story, multiplayer Versus mode, Arcade, and Training.
Mike Willette, Executive Producer of InvincibleVS, praised the game as a “love letter to the fighting game community” created by a team of experienced fans. The game’s development was funded through a crowdfunding campaign last year, which saw an internal 30-person studio at Skybound Entertainment work on the project.
With its promising features and potential for intense gameplay, InvincibleVS is generating excitement among fans of the franchise and the fighting game community alike.
