Roman Anthony Cracks 497-Foot Homer in Worcester

The Boston Red Sox’ top prospect Roman Anthony delivered a majestic grand slam at Polar Park, the farthest and hardest hit ball in baseball this season. The 115.6 mph shot over the right-center field wall helped Triple-A Worcester secure a 10-4 win over Rochester. Anthony’s second grand slam of the season gave his team a five-run advantage and sealed their sixth straight victory. With 10 home runs and 29 RBIs, Anthony is hitting .290 with the WooSox. Manager Chad Tracy praised Anthony’s at-bats, saying “he’s going to do something special” when he comes up to bat.
