Samsung is set to unveil at least two new foldable phones and two new smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, during its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. A leaked prototype device on eBay has revealed the design of one of these smartwatches, showcasing a Galaxy Watch Ultra-like squircle design with a rotating bezel.
The leaked watch features a chunky silver metal case (46mm) and a black leather band. It appears to be an LTE variant for the American market, priced at $202.5. The device has 64GB of built-in storage, double that of its predecessors, and will likely run Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch software.
Key features include a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED circular screen with AOD, sapphire crystal glass, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and 10W wireless charging. The watch may also come equipped with various health and fitness tracking sensors such as an ECG, heart rate sensor, SpO2 measurement, accelerometer, gyro, magnetic sensor, and skin temperature sensor.
The Galaxy Watch 8 Classic’s design confirms some of the rumored features of the upcoming smartwatch series, providing fans with a glimpse into what to expect from Samsung’s next smartwatch.
