Iran Acquires Secret Israeli Nuclear Documents Through Hacking

Iran’s state TV broadcaster reported that the country has obtained thousands of sensitive documents related to Israel’s nuclear and defense capabilities through hacking. According to Israeli intelligence analyst Ronen Solomon, the operation likely took place last year. The stolen information could include details on Israel’s supply chain, but it may also be a psychological operation.

Solomon suggested that the documents were sold on the dark network, which takes time for someone to buy and verify. This comes as Iran has launched an unprecedented wave of operations aimed at intelligence gathering and assassinating top Israeli officials. The country has arrested dozens of Israelis suspected of spying, including two men who were caught in Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz’s hometown.

The stolen documents are believed to be related to sensitive sites such as the operating rooms of Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system and its secretive nuclear site in Dimona. The Israeli government has not commented on the claims.
