Aaron Rodgers Signs One-Year Deal with Pittsburgh Steelers

NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers has finally agreed to a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers after months of free agency negotiations. According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, Rodgers’ new deal includes:

– A base salary of $13.65 million
– $10 million guaranteed
– Incentives that can add up to $5.85 million if reached through specific performance metrics, including:
– $500,000 for making the playoffs with at least 50% playtime
– $600,000 for winning a wild-card round game or earning a first-round bye
– $750,000 for advancing to the divisional round
– $1 million for winning an AFC title game
– $1.5 million each for winning the Super Bowl and AP MVP award

The contract also includes a cap hit of $14.15 million for the 2025 season. Rodgers will need to play at least 70% of the Steelers’ regular season snaps to qualify for the incentives.
