A client’s internet connection was temporarily blocked by Cloudflare due to a high number of requests, according to data released by the web security company.
The details of the incident reveal that the IP address (37.27.54.14) associated with the request received a “Too Many Requests” error code (1788964485). This type of blockage is designed to prevent abuse and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on websites and web applications.
Cloudflare, which provides security and performance services for online platforms, monitors IP addresses to identify patterns of malicious activity. If an IP address is found to be sending excessive requests, it may be blocked to prevent further disruptions.
