The Chase Sapphire Reserve is getting a significant upgrade, launching June 23 with over $2,700 in value for cardholders. The refreshed card promises to deliver elevated benefits and greater value in areas that its current members are most passionate about. The new version comes at an annual fee of $795, up from $550—a 44.5 percent increase.
The updated program includes a range of perks, such as:
* A $300 credit for travel expenses
* A $500 credit to spend on hotels through Chase’s hotels collection, The Edit
* A free Apple TV+ subscription
* A $300 DoorDash credit
* A $300 credit for tickets purchased through StubHub
Other benefits include exclusive access to prime-time reservations at select restaurants across the country, automatic enrollment in IHG One Rewards at the platinum elite level, and a powerful points-earning structure that allows flexible redemptions.
The earning structure has been tweaked, with 8x points on purchases made through Chase Travel, 4x on flights and hotels booked directly, 3x on dining, and 5x on eligible Lyft rides. A new “Points Boost” program replaces the long-standing benefit of earning 1.5x on all bookings, offering dynamic discounts on reservations.
Lounge access remains a key feature, granting access to the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club network and over 1,300 lounges with Priority Pass Select. Cardholders can also tap into the expertise of Chase’s growing network of Reserve Travel Designers for trip planning support.
The first-ever Sapphire business card will also launch on June 23, featuring many of the same perks as the flagship card, along with add-ons aimed at corporate users.
Both cards will be available for purchase next week, on June 23.
