GHF Distributes 33 Million Meals to Gaza Amidst Tensions

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) has delivered a total of 33.5 million meals to Palestinians in Gaza over three weeks of operations, despite facing misinformation and volatility in the region.

The organization’s efforts aim to provide vital food aid to the Palestinian people, with all aid distribution sites operating safely and efficiently. GHF welcomes collaboration from partners like the United Nations to amplify its mission.

However, the group is pushing back against false reports about “violent incidents” near their sites but occurring at other locations, claiming misinformation spread by the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry and Al Jazeera. GHF continues to operate at three sites in Gaza, including Wadi Gaza, Khan Yunis, and SDS2.

Since its distribution began on May 26, the GHF has supplied a significant amount of food to Gazans, overshadowed only briefly by the Israel-Iran war that started on June 13. The organization maintains that reports claiming harm to Gazans trying to access food are unfounded, while it continues to provide life-saving aid safely and efficiently.
