Apple has released the second developer beta of watchOS 26, the next major software update for the Apple Watch. The new features include a revamped Workout app with AI-powered Workout Buddy, a fresh ‘Liquid Glass’ design, and a new Notes app on your wrist.
The updates are expected to roll out this fall, but so far, watchOS 26 appears to be the lighter side in terms of new features. However, changes like the revamped Workout app and Liquid Glass impact the core watchOS experience.
To install watchOS 26 beta 2, you’ll need an iPhone running iOS 26, and it’s not available within the Watch app on your iPhone unless you have iOS 26 installed. We’ll continue to monitor any updates and new features introduced in the beta.
For now, users can check out our latest deals and accessories for the Apple Watch.
