Microsoft is introducing its new aggregated gaming library, allowing Xbox Insiders to access their Steam and Battle.net games within the Xbox app on Windows. This week, eligible gamers can see their installed PC games in a single launcher.
The new consolidated library will be rolled out to the Xbox app later this year, alongside devices like ROG Xbox Ally handhelds. It’s part of Microsoft’s efforts to make the Xbox app on Windows the hub for PC gaming and compete with Steam and SteamOS.
Once installed, ‘My library’ within the Xbox PC app will automatically display all supported PC games from storefronts like Steam, making it easy to jump back into favorite titles.
To try out the new feature, gamers can download the Xbox Insider Hub on their Windows machine or join the PC gaming preview. They can also customize game visibility in the Library & Extensions section of the Xbox app settings.
