Goldberg Leads Up to Final SNME Match

Goldberg is set to return to WWE television in a series of appearances leading up to his farewell match at Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME). The Hall of Famer will appear on Monday’s episode of Raw, with the possibility of weekly appearances until the event. However, Goldberg will be absent from June 30’s episode in Pittsburgh.

A sit-down interview with Goldberg is expected on tonight’s Raw, where he will formally discuss his retirement match against GUNTHER. The General Manager Adam Pearce has not confirmed GUNTHER’s involvement yet.

Goldberg and GUNTHER have a long-standing feud stemming from Bad Blood last October. At the event, GUNTHER called out Goldberg in front of his son, sparking an altercation when Goldberg jumped the barricade. Their rivalry will culminate at SNME, marking Goldberg’s final match. The Universal Title held by Roman Reigns thwarted Goldberg’s comeback attempt in 2022 due to injuries that delayed his retirement for three years.
