Google has introduced significant updates to its Ask Photos feature, aimed at providing faster search results for both simple and complex queries. Building on user feedback, the company is merging the best of the classic search feature from Google Photos into Ask Photos.
The new features enhance search speed for straightforward queries like “beach” or “dogs,” while still utilizing Gemini models to provide more in-depth answers for complex questions, such as “suggest photos that’d make great phone backgrounds” or “what did I eat on my trip to Barcelona?”
These improvements have enabled Ask Photos to expand its access beyond early access, and it is now rolling out to a broader audience in the U.S. Users are encouraged to continue sharing their feedback to help further refine the feature.
