Joey Logano secured the pole position for Saturday’s Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup Series race, with a lap time of 30.979 seconds identical to that of Josh Berry. The top eight starting spots were claimed by Ford drivers, including all three Team Penske cars.
The qualifying session was cut short due to lightning delays and mid-qualifying disruptions. As a result, only one round of qualifying took place. However, this did not affect the determination of the starting lineup, with points standing as the tiebreaker between Logano and Berry.
Here is the full starting lineup for Saturday’s NASCAR race in Atlanta:
1. Joey Logano, No. 22 Team Penske Ford
2. Josh Berry, No. 21 Wood Brothers Racing Ford
3. Ryan Blaney, No. 12 Team Penske Ford
4. Austin Cindric, No. 2 Team Penske Ford
5. Ryan Preece, No. 60 RFK Racing Ford
6. Brad Keselowski, No. 6 RFK Racing Ford
7. Cole Custer, No. 41 Haas Factory Team Ford
8. Zane Smith, No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford
The Quaker State 400 will take place on June 28 at EchoPark Speedway, with a green flag time of approximately 6:20 p.m. CT. The race is scheduled for 260 laps and 400 miles, with three stages and TV coverage on TNT.
