PSG Rout Inter Miami 4-0 in Club World Cup Opener

Paris Saint-Germain dominated Inter Miami 4-0 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, advancing to the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup with ease. João Neves scored twice, including a precise header from a free kick, as PSG took control within six minutes. Tomás Avilés’ own goal and Achraf Hakimi’s late strike sealed the win.

The French side created numerous scoring opportunities, with Barcelona transfer Fabián Ruiz playing a key role in the attack. Despite occasional chants of “Messi! Messi!” from the crowd, the Argentine star struggled to make an impact, mostly stuck in midfield. Inter Miami’s best chance came in the second half, but Luis Suárez’s shot was saved harmlessly.

PSG coach Luis Enrique praised his team’s performance, saying it was “almost perfect.” The Champions League winners will face the winner of the Flamengo vs Bayern Munich match in the quarterfinals.
