Nickeil Alexander-Walker’s Free Agency Bidder List Expands

Former Utah Jazz guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker is expected to attract interest from multiple teams as he hits the free agent market next week. The Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, and Detroit Pistons are among the teams with potential offers for the 3-and-D guard.

Alexander-Walker’s emergence as a quality backup guard since his trade to Minnesota has increased his value on the market. He played two seasons in Utah, averaging just 5.5 points per game, but showed significant improvement in his last season, averaging 9.4 points and 2.7 assists while shooting 43.8% from the field.

The Hawks and Magic have already made notable moves this offseason, leaving them well-positioned to pursue Alexander-Walker if he becomes available. With the Clippers also active in their pursuit of other guards, it’s likely that Alexander-Walker will find a new team with a competitive offer. Despite being let go by the Jazz, Alexander-Walker should still have a strong market and can expect to secure a lucrative contract.
