Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña will miss his second consecutive game due to rib soreness. Manager Joe Espada stated that Peña is making progress after suffering a rib injury during the team’s win against the Chicago Cubs on Friday. Although imaging revealed no fracture, Peña remains sore and has been cleared to bat in practice. The Astros have a day off before starting their series in Colorado on Tuesday.
