A trade deal signed between US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has reduced tariffs on car imports from Britain, allowing British car manufacturers to export to the US under a 10% tariff quota. The current 10% tariffs on aircraft engines and parts have also been fully removed. However, the issue of steel and aluminum tariffs remains unresolved, with Britain avoiding elevated tariffs of up to 50% until July 9. The UK aims to reach 0% tariffs on core steel products as agreed under the deal.
