Markets Movers: Tesla Falls 6% on Trump’s Comments

Tesla shares fell 6% after President Donald Trump suggested subsidies for CEO Elon Musk’s companies to reduce costs. The electric vehicle maker previously criticized the president’s tax-and-spending bill.

AeroVironment shares slid 7% following a $750 million common stock offering and $600 million convertible senior note issuance due in 2030. Hasbro gained 2% after an upgrade from Goldman Sachs, citing new Magic: The Gathering sets that could boost sales.

Hyatt Hotels rose 2% after Raymond James upgraded the hotel chain to a strong buy, citing a Monday announcement about selling Playa-owned real estate.

Textron fell 2% following a downgrade from Goldman Sachs due to market share losses in business jets and limited growth. Sweetgreen shares slid 3% after TD Cowen downgraded to hold from buy, citing rising competition.

Joby Aviation shares rose 1% ahead of its first flying taxi delivery to the UAE on Monday, with a planned 2026 service launch. Progress Software slipped 4% despite beating earnings expectations.

Circle Internet Group added nearly 2% after submitting a bank charter application, which could lead to establishing the First National Digital Currency Bank and offering blockchain-related custody services.
