Home Depot Boycott Over DEI Removal Sparks Concern

Home Depot, an Atlanta-based retailer, is facing a 31-day boycott led by The People’s Union USA. The group claims the company removed its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) page from its website, sparking concerns about corporate accountability and transparency.

Founder John Schwartz said the boycott goes beyond one issue and aims to push for better DEI policies across corporations. Home Depot responded with a statement, emphasizing respect for all people and welcoming an inclusive culture.

The People’s Union USA is also targeting Amazon and Starbucks during July, citing similar issues over commitment to DEI and worker rights. This comes after various companies faced boycotts since President Trump returned to office and called for the end of DEI programs.
