SpaceX successfully completed its second Falcon 9 rocket launch of the day, launching 26 more Starlink V2 Mini satellites into low Earth orbit. The Starlink 15-7 mission took off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 10:13 a.m. PDT and added to a constellation nearly 8,000 strong.
The second stage booster, B1088, made its eighth launch and flew with NASA’s SPHEREx, the National Reconnaissance Office, and Transporter-12 missions before landing on the droneship “Of Course I Still Love You” eight minutes after liftoff. This was the 139th touchdown for this vessel and the 470th booster landing to date.
