Colombian authorities have arrested Elder José Arteaga Hernández, known as “El Costeño,” a suspect linked to the attempted assassination of Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay in June. According to reports, Arteaga was apprehended in a Bogota neighborhood, marking the fifth person to be arrested in connection with the case. A 15-year-old alleged shooter has also been implicated. The arrest is seen as a significant development in the investigation into the senator’s attempted assassination.
