Chuck E. Cheese Unveils Retro-Style Arcades Across 10 Malls

Chuck E. Cheese, the beloved family entertainment center, has launched “Chuck’s Arcade,” a new concept featuring retro-style arcades in 10 shopping malls nationwide. The revamped arcades offer a nostalgic gaming experience with classic and new games, including Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, and Centipede.

The move marks a significant shift from the traditional Chuck E. Cheese’s model, which typically features food options. However, most locations will not sell food, except for one in Kansas City, Missouri, where you can find a full menu, including beer and wine.

Chuck’s Arcades are designed to cater to lifelong fans of Chuck E. Cheese who grew up with the brand. The new concept aims to provide an immersive experience, reminiscent of classic arcades from the past. While it may not fundamentally change the business, it is expected to meet the needs of this loyal segment.

The 10 initial locations include:

* Mall of Georgia
* Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa, Oklahoma
* Tyrone Square in St. Petersburg, Florida
* Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
* Eastview Mall in Victor, New York
* Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas
* The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire
* Ward Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri
* Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, New Hampshire
* Trumbull Mall in Trumbull, Connecticut

Another location is set to open at Brea Mall in California in August.
