The General Services Administration (GSA) has unveiled a new agreement with Oracle, offering federal agencies a 75% discount on its cloud and software license offerings through November. This deal aims to give government agencies parity with commercial costs for Oracle Cloud, allowing them to access advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As part of the OneGov initiative, the partnership eliminates fees associated with transferring data out of Oracle cloud storage to another provider, making it easier for federal agencies to access support credits. The agreement also includes Oracle’s FedRAMP High-certified systems, which have obtained high-level security clearances.
Oracle joins a growing list of software companies working with the OneGov initiative, including Salesforce, Adobe, Elastic, and Google. This partnership is part of the Trump administration’s goal to incorporate cutting-edge commercial technologies into federal operations, delivering unmatched speed, security, and scalability for government data management.
