Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Rumored to Have 16GB of RAM

Samsung is reportedly planning to equip the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra with 16GB of RAM, contrary to previous statements suggesting only the costliest variant would receive this amount of memory. According to recent rumors, both the 512GB and 1TB storage tiers could also come with 16GB of RAM.

This development marks a significant change for Samsung, as it was last seen on the Galaxy S21 Ultra in 2021. However, since then, the company has stuck with a maximum of 12GB of RAM across all its flagship models, including the S22 Ultra.

Next year’s S25 Ultra is expected to have a similar situation, with only the 256GB variant possibly receiving 12GB of RAM. Nevertheless, Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy S25 series yet, so take these rumors with caution and be prepared for possible changes.

What can be confirmed at this point is that there will indeed be a model with 16GB of RAM in the Galaxy S25 Ultra lineup. The base model may see an upgrade from 8GB to 12GB, while the Plus model is expected to feature 12GB across all storage variants.
