Samsung’s next generation of foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, may be more than just a minor design tweak. According to reports from Roland Quandt at WinFuture, the new phone will boast an impressive thinness record, measuring 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm unfolded. This would make it the thinnest iteration yet in the series.
The device is also expected to be the lightest one so far, weighing just 216g. When it comes to storage options, camera specs, and battery size, these details align with expectations for Samsung’s upcoming announcements.
Notably, the Flip 7 model features a substantial cover screen upgrade, measuring 4.1 inches – a significant jump from its predecessor’s 3.4-inch display. Meanwhile, the Flip 7 is reported to be 70% thinner than its previous iteration while carrying a larger battery.
Unfortunately, information about the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra remains under wraps for now. Samsung has teased this device, highlighting AI integration in their hardware, but it will have to wait until the event to be officially revealed.
