Lil Jon to Perform at New York State Fair

Lil Jon, the platinum-selling rapper behind hits like “Turn Down for What” and “Get Low,” will take the stage at the New York State Fair next month. The concert, scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m., is free with fair admission.

A hip-hop icon, Lil Jon has been a driving force in the genre’s popularity over the years. He started his career as a DJ in Atlanta and went on to create the “crunk” sub-genre of hip-hop, collaborating with top artists like Usher, Ludacris, and TLC.

The 2025 New York State Fair will feature a diverse lineup of national acts across its two main stages. Other notable performers include Busta Rhymes, who will be performing during the fair’s summer run.

Fair admission is $8 for adults, while children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older can attend for free. The fair will run from Wednesday, Aug. 20 through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.
