Sean Combs will be sentenced on October 3, according to US District Judge Arun Subramanian’s letter. Last week, a federal jury in Manhattan found Combs guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
Combs was accused of running a criminal enterprise that concealed sexual abuse for decades, but jurors didn’t find him guilty beyond reasonable doubt. However, he was convicted of flying escorts across state lines to engage in commercial sex acts.
Combs will be sentenced without bail, which will be credited towards his final sentence. He has already spent over a year in jail and will receive credit for that time when the verdict is carried out on October 3.
