The main event of WWE Evolution 2025 has been confirmed, pitting Women’s World Champion IYO SKY against powerhouse Rhea ‘Bloody’ Ripley. The match, set to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 13, will determine who holds the coveted title.
According to Wade Barrett, IYO SKY defends her women’s world championship against Rhea Ripley, with Barrett calling the two female wrestlers “the best on the planet.” The rivalry between the two Superstars has been building since SKY’s win over Ripley at WrestleMania, with SKY retaining her title thanks in part to Bianca Belair’s interference.
Ripley has responded by going on a tear, including a hard-fought win against Raquel Rodriguez in a street fight. When asked about her next move, Ripley said she wanted to face the best and challenged The Eradicator to a one-on-one showdown.
The women’s title showdown will headline Evolution 2025, which promises to be an exciting event for fans of women’s wrestling.
