A McDonald’s worker in Eastpointe, Michigan has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing her manager to death. Afeni Muhammad, 26, was arraigned on Friday on charges of first-degree murder, carrying a dangerous weapon, and being a habitual offender. The fatal stabbing occurred at the McDonald’s restaurant on 9 Mile Road, where Harris, the manager, was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife. According to police, Muhammad had been sent home by Harris for not performing her work duties and later returned to the restaurant with a knife she had hidden in her vehicle. She attempted to flee but was stopped by an armed customer before being taken into custody. The judge set Muhammad’s bond at $25 million and she is expected to appear in court again on July 23 and July 30.
