Florida’s Attorney General Pam Bondi has dismissed charges against a Utah plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Kirk Moore, who was accused of issuing fake COVID-19 vaccination records cards to people seeking them.
Moore faced trial on multiple counts related to the alleged scheme, which involved destroying government-provided vaccines and distributing fake doses for direct payment or donations. He pleaded not guilty but argued that CDC vaccine regulations were unconstitutional.
The decision comes as Bondi thanked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for raising awareness about Moore’s case, citing concerns over government “weaponization.” The dismissal does not affect the status of two other co-defendants who entered plea agreements earlier.
This move comes amid a department facing internal turmoil after a dispute between Bondi and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino over the Jeffrey Epstein investigation review.
