Friends Feline Rescuers Rehome ‘Smelly Cats’ from Scotland Rubbish Dump

Six abandoned kittens found in a rubbish tip in south Scotland have been rehomed after being nursed back to health by Borders Pet Rescue. The litter, consisting of three males and three females, were named after characters from the popular TV show Friends due to their strong bond with rescue staff. Initially suffering from malnutrition, fleas, worms, and painful eye infections, the kittens received medical treatment and time to recover in a foster environment before being adopted into new homes. Thanks to social media attention, Borders Pet Rescue raised thousands of pounds for veterinary care and successfully found forever homes for the ‘Smelly Cats’.
