Brody Jenner, 41, married Tia Blanco on July 12 at his mother Linda Thompson’s Malibu, California home. Footage shared by Thompson on Instagram Stories shows the couple walking into their reception with hands held, surrounded by familiar tunes – Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” played in the background.
As a staple on MTV’s The Hills from 2006 to 2010, Jenner has been forever linked to the show that opened with a rendition of this song. In an interview with Variety in 2019, Bedingfield reflected on her hit track: “A song is like a person – it has a life of its own… once it becomes a hit, it’s not yours anymore.”
Bedingfield reimagined her classic track for MTV’s The Hills: New Beginnings spinoff. When asked about the idea, she said, “We just came to them with this idea of ‘Why don’t we redo ‘Unwritten’ because it’s just for fun… and also to celebrate that The Hills really did mean a lot to people.”
The ceremony and reception featured familiar faces, including Brody’s ex Caitlyn Jenner, who was present at the wedding. Tia Blanco is a professional surfer whom Brody met in 2022 and got engaged to just months before finding out she was pregnant with their first child, Honey Raye Jenner, born on July 29th.
