The Analogue 3D, a retro console promising a classic Nintendo 64 experience, has delayed shipping again due to tariffs. The company behind it initially said orders would ship in early 2025, but now expects them to begin next month after new import taxes were announced.
Analogue is using Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology to replicate the N64 on modern displays with original cartridges and controllers. However, the introduction of tariffs from East Asia countries has caused delays. The company will absorb the costs, keeping the preorder price unchanged.
Original shipping dates had been set for Q1, Q2, or early 2025, but Analogue seems confident about meeting its new deadline. The company announced a review schedule for late August, when reviews and everything else related to the console will be made available.
