Amy Bradley, 23, vanished from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship nearly 30 years ago. A new Netflix docuseries, “Amy Bradley Is Missing,” has reopened the case.
The series examines the 1998 disappearance and features interviews with family, friends, law enforcement, and archival footage. The FBI investigation remains open.
In an interview with USA TODAY, co-director Ari Mark said the show aims to reexamine the case and potentially move the needle on finding answers. “It became clear that this was a family that was really suffering,” he said. “Of course, as we got deeper into it, the complexities around the case are impossible to ignore.”
The docuseries highlights possible scenarios, including that Bradley could have gone overboard or been smuggled off the ship. Multiple witnesses claim they saw her in various parts of the region after she disappeared.
The series premiered on Netflix and consists of three episodes, each ranging from 40-50 minutes. The FBI’s investigation remains open, with agents searching the waters between Aruba and CuraƧao where the ship was last seen.
