CD Projekt has confirmed that the next major update for Cyberpunk 2077, titled “2.3,” will arrive on July 17. The update promises to bring a slew of new features, including four new vehicles, improved photo mode, AMD FSR 4 support, and more.
The most exciting addition is probably the option to kick Johnny Silverhand out of your car if he becomes annoying. Players can now tell Johnny to leave for a couple of days, which will give them some much-needed peace.
In terms of gameplay, the update introduces AutoDrive, a feature that allows players to relax and enjoy a leisurely ride through Night City’s streets. However, players who prefer driving themselves can still disable the feature.
The 2.3 update also brings significant improvements to photo mode, including support for 27 new NPCs, alternative outfits, and more customization options. Players can now switch between different outfits and even add stickers and frames to their screenshots.
Other notable changes include improved support for AMD’s FSR 4 technology, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR10+ GAMING certified Intel GPUs. The update also addresses several visual issues, including those with missing textures and floating objects.
The full patch notes are available on the game’s official website, but a summary can be found below:
* New vehicles: Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru, Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”, Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa, Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila
* AutoDrive feature with cinematic camera and self-driving Delamain cabs
* Improved photo mode with new NPCs, alternative outfits, and customization options
* Support for AMD FSR 4, Intel XeSS 2.0, HDR10+ GAMING certified Intel GPUs
* Various bug fixes and quality of life improvements
The update will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles, so gamers can expect a comprehensive set of new features and improvements to the game.
