CD Projekt Red has announced an upcoming update for Cyberpunk 2077, bringing auto-drive mode to consoles and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The update, titled 2.3, will be released on July 17 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The new features include an official AutoDrive mode, which allows players to drive from one location to another without input, but with a cinematic camera option to enhance the experience. A “wandering” mode is also available, perfect for aimless joyrides through Night City.
In addition to auto-drive, the update brings support for AMD FSR 3.1, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR 10 Plus on PC. The update will not be available on Nintendo Switch just yet, as it was initially released alongside the console. However, Mac users can look forward to the new features with the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on July 17.
