American Tourist Identified as Body Found in Turks and Caicos

A body found on July 5 over a week ago in Turks and Caicos has been identified as missing American tourist Brian Tarrence, 51. Tarrence went missing on June 25 during a vacation with his wife at the Paradise Inn in Grace Bay, Providenciales.

Forensic dental analysis confirmed Tarrence’s identity following the conclusion of an autopsy. No signs of trauma were discovered, and police do not suspect foul play. However, the cause of death remains undetermined until final autopsy and toxicology reports are received.

Tarrence’s wife did not realize he was missing until the next morning, despite having him on camera walking into town. His belongings remained at the condo, and his family has been cooperating with the investigation.

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is seeking information from the public in relation to Tarrence’s case. Anyone with information can call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
