The study revealed that particles of antimatter, such as anti-electrons and anti-protons, have the same mass but opposite electric charge compared to their regular counterparts. “This imbalance is very important for us to further understand bigger questions about the universe,” said Xueting Yang, a graduate student at Peking University who led the analysis.
