UFC BJJ 2: TACKETT vs CANUTO & FOWLER vs GARMO

The Ultimate Fighting Championship Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (UFC BJJ) returns with its second event, featuring two highly anticipated title fights. On July 31, welterweight champion Andrew Tackett will defend his title for the first time against submission specialist Renato Canuto. In the co-main event, Mason Fowler will face off for the inaugural light heavyweight championship against David Garmo.

Tackett aims to make another statement by defending his title and proving that he can submit anyone at 170-pounds. The champion won the belt just a month ago with a dominant first-round submission over Andy Varela. Canuto, on the other hand, has made a name for himself as one of the most exciting submission threats in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with victories over Oliver Taza and Jason Nolf.

The light heavyweight championship is also up for grabs between Fowler, who is making his UFC BJJ debut, and Garmo. Fowler is known for his dynamic and versatile grappling skills, which have impressed fans in victories over Christiano Troisi and Pedro Marinho. He now plans to stake his claim as the best light heavyweight on the planet.

The event also features a number of exciting additional matches, including middleweight bout William Tackett vs Kyle Chambers, women’s featherweight bout Raquel Canuto vs Mo Black, and lightweight match Ademir Barreto vs Kennedy Maciel.
