Ukraine has launched a new initiative called “Test in Ukraine,” allowing foreign defense companies to test their technologies under real battlefield conditions. The platform is part of the Brave1 defense tech cluster, which aims to help partner countries develop and refine combat-ready technologies.
Through Test in Ukraine, international manufacturers can choose to test their solutions directly in Ukrainian combat zones or hand them off to Brave1 specialists for evaluation. The Ukrainian team will conduct the testing and deliver a full analytical report to partners. Benefits include direct feedback from military end-users, access to fully equipped test ranges, detailed protocols, and opportunities to co-produce with Ukrainian firms.
The initiative aims to help Ukraine’s allies test and refine their technologies in one of the most dynamic environments in the world. It also showcases Ukraine’s defense innovations, including drones like VAMPIRE and Magura, which are already being used in the war.
