Elden Ring’s notoriously difficult mode, Nightreign, is set to receive a new wave of challenges with the arrival of enhanced Everdark Sovereigns on July 31. The updated rotation will include four bosses: Libra Creature of Night (Equilibrious Beast), Augur, Tricephalos, and Fissure in the Fog.
These powerful enemies will push players to their limits with a mix of fast-paced attacks, complex magic, and unpredictable behavior. To add an extra layer of complexity, players must also manage a “madness meter” to avoid being one-shot by the boss’s devastating attacks.
While some may feel that Nightreign has become too easy due to previous Everdark Sovereigns, the author is optimistic about the upcoming changes. They believe that FromSoftware will continue to refine and improve the mode, adding new features such as maps, loot, or even a duos mode, which has been promised but not yet released.
