The Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, which started operations in November, is currently closed to foreign guests due to unspecified reasons. This move comes after Lavrov’s visit, during which he vowed to help increase tourist flows to the isolated country. The suspension affects the popular resort, which was intended to boost tourism and economic ties between North Korea and Russia.
