NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang recently emphasized the benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) during visits to Washington, D.C. and Beijing. He reaffirmed the company’s support for U.S. efforts to create jobs and strengthen domestic AI infrastructure.
Huang met with President Trump and U.S. policymakers in D.C., discussing how AI can drive business growth and job creation. In Beijing, he spoke with government and industry officials about the potential of AI to increase productivity and expand opportunities.
The NVIDIA CEO also provided updates on the company’s plans, including filing applications to sell its H20 GPU again. He announced a new RTX PRO GPU designed for digital twin AI in smart factories and logistics.
Huang noted that AI has reached an “inflection point,” where it is becoming a fundamental resource like energy and water. The CEO emphasized NVIDIA’s commitment to open-source research, foundation models, and applications, which aim to democratize access to AI technology.
“General-purpose, open-source research and foundation models are the backbone of AI innovation,” Huang said. By supporting these initiatives, NVIDIA aims to empower emerging economies worldwide and encourage nations to choose American technology.
