Lynsi Snyder Moves In-N-Out East with New Tennessee HQ

Lynsi Snyder, billionaire owner of In-N-Out Burger, announced her plans to move the cult burger chain’s southeastern expansion and establish a new headquarters in Tennessee. Speaking on the “Relatable” podcast, Snyder cited challenges running the business and raising her family in California as reasons for the move.

Snyder mentioned COVID-19-era business restrictions, such as mask mandates and vaccine requirements, that made it difficult to operate in the state. In 2021, health officials temporarily shut down several locations due to the chain’s refusal to require proof of vaccinations.

To centralize its West Coast operations, In-N-Out is consolidating its corporate presence in California, phasing out its Irvine headquarters by 2030. The new Franklin, Tennessee headquarters is set to open in 2026. While expanding in the Southeast, Snyder said she’s prioritizing sustainable growth that maintains product quality and service.

Snyder emphasized keeping the company’s values and standards intact, as laid down by her grandparents, and not compromising on these core aspects. She also mentioned that In-N-Out will continue to grow but won’t expand into every state, including Florida.
