Chris Martin Warns Concertgoers of Possible Jumbotron Appearance

Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay, made an announcement during their concert Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, alerting fans that some might appear on the giant video screens during the “Jumbotron Song”. He joked about the importance of makeup, saying to those who haven’t applied it yet: “Do your makeup now.”

The warning comes after a similar incident occurred last week when camera footage showed a couple cuddling while watching the stage. The couple quickly separated and hid their faces as they realized they were being shown on the screen.

Internet sleuths identified the couple as Andy Byron, CEO of tech company Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, head of human resources at Astronomer. Byron has since resigned, and Astronomer’s new interim CEO is Pete DeJoy.

Astronomer’s board of directors initiated a formal investigation into the matter, citing that their leaders should set a standard for conduct and accountability. The company’s board announced this on Friday, sparking memes and comedic videos online.
