The New England Patriots are gearing up for their 2025 training camp with several key staff changes and personnel updates. The team has released an updated media guide, revealing notable changes to its strength and conditioning, player personnel, and football operations departments.
The strength and conditioning staff will remain largely unchanged, with Brandon Martuccio and Dexter Taylor retaining their roles as strength and conditioning assistants. However, Frank Piraino will now serve as the head of the department in his new role as director of sports performance.
In the player personnel department, Casey Belongia has been promoted to national scout for the west region, taking over Tony Kinkela’s old role. Matt Evans has also taken a step up the organizational ladder, becoming the team’s assistant director of college scouting. Justin Hickman will now oversee the southeast area, while Landon Simpson and Bryson Speas have been promoted to new roles as area scouts.
The football operations department has seen several changes this offseason, including the departure of executive vice president of football operations Robyn Glaser and senior advisor to the head coach Chris Mattes. Additionally, longtime IT specialist Dan Famosi is no longer employed by the team, while Brianna Avedisian has joined the Patriots as an IT manager, football operations.
