The 2026 Toyota Tundra has made significant updates to its capabilities, comfort, and features. These enhancements include luxurious interior upgrades, new color options, and improved off-road capabilities.
The Tundra’s Capstone grade now features Shale Premium Textured leather-trimmed seats, while the Limited grade will offer a similar look with black and grey leather trim. The TRD Pro model can be ordered with optional ISO Dynamic seats, providing enhanced comfort for off-road enthusiasts. Additionally, power running boards are available on Platinum and 1794 TRD Off-Road Package models.
Comfort and climate control have been improved with air vents on the rear center console in double cab models and smartflow management system on all grades. A new fuel tank capacity of 32.2 gallons is standard across all models, eliminating the smaller gas tank option. The SR grade now comes with a tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector.
The Tundra’s performance options include a twin-turbo V6 engine producing 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque, as well as an i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain offering 437 net combined horsepower at 5,200 rpm. The truck also features impressive towing capacity, with a maximum of 12,000 pounds.
Off-road upgrades include Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control, which help control wheel spin on various terrain. An electronically locking rear differential is standard on TRD Pro models, while the Multi-Terrain Monitor allows drivers to check their surroundings for potential obstacles.
The Tundra’s audio system has been updated with Toyota Audio Multimedia, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen or a 14-inch screen with high-quality visuals. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, voice activation, and intuitive responses.
Toyota offers various warranty options, including a 36-month/36,000-mile basic new-vehicle warranty and additional warranties for the powertrain and corrosion coverage. ToyotaCare covers normal factory-scheduled maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance for two years or 25,000 miles.
