Billionaire Heiress Sells California Mansion for $900,000 Loss Due to Relocation

Lynsi Snyder, CEO and president of In-N-Out Burger, has sold her massive California estate for $16.3 million at a loss of nearly $1 million. The seven-bedroom mansion was listed in March 2021 but eventually sold due to the family’s decision to relocate from California to Tennessee.

The move is linked to the company’s eastern expansion, with Snyder stating that raising a family and doing business are challenging in California. The new office in Franklin, Tennessee, will be located just south of Nashville, and plans for opening In-N-Out restaurants in the area have been announced.

Snyder has served as president since 2010 and revealed her reasons for selling the home on the ‘Relatable’ podcast. She mentioned that she wants to be closer to her family and other people’s families who will benefit from the new office location.

The California mansion featured multiple amenities, including a golf course, home theater, vineyard, and infinity pool. The 11-bedroom, 14-bathroom residence had a grand entrance with a dual staircase and massive chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Snyder has faced challenges in her personal life, including two kidnapping attempts as a child, which led to her remaining private for years. She is now married four times, has four children, and is deeply involved in a Christian charity called Healing Hearts and Nations.

As the current CEO of In-N-Out Burger, Snyder leads with a leadership style reminiscent of her father and uncle, who founded the company in 1948. The company plans to expand into other locations on the East coast, including Tennessee.
