Atari is releasing a special console and DLC package to celebrate Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary. The main item is the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man edition, a bright yellow re-release of the iconic console for $169.99.
The bundle also includes Pac-Man: Double Feature, which features an arcade-style version of the original game (Pac-Man 7800) and the first home console release (Pac-Man 2600). A limited-edition Golden Box Edition of the game will be available at San Diego Comic-Con, featuring a special cartridge in one of five ghost colors.
Additionally, the collection includes a wireless joystick in five Pac-Man-themed colors for $39.99 each. The Atari 50 DLC package will also receive new content later this year, including classic Namco titles such as Galaga and Dig Dug.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America is partnering with Atari to bring joy to fans worldwide. The partnership aims to honor the timeless spirit of Pac-Man while blending nostalgia with fresh experiences for both old and new fans.
