A 1.5-year-old boy went missing near Willow Grove Open Space in Silverthorne on Tuesday, July 22. The child was found dead later that evening. Summit County Coroner Amber Flenniken has identified the boy as Zeldris Milo Maes of Arvada. According to Kristina Nayden, communications director for Silverthorne, no foul play is suspected in Maes’ death. The town reported the search around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and it ended at 5 p.m.
